Adobe Lightroom Keyboard Shortcuts

£0.00Price

Every Lightroom shortcut, sorted by the job in hand

This is the reference for the cloud-based Lightroom desktop app, not Lightroom Classic. The two share a name and some of their keys, but each has its own list, and mixing them up is how a shortcut stops working.

Adobe Lightroom Keyboard Shortcuts is a free 5-page PDF quick reference with 65 shortcuts in 4 sections, with the Mac and Windows keys side by side.

The shortcuts come from Adobe's Lightroom desktop shortcuts page, last updated on 17 June 2025, with two of Adobe's slips corrected. On a Mac, Adobe lists Cmd+H and Cmd+M twice each, so those two are worth checking in the app.

What the reference covers

  • Views, panels and zoom

  • Editing tools, masks, brushes and versions

  • Copying and pasting settings

  • Adding, finding, stacking, flagging and rating photographs

  • Exporting, HDR and panorama merges, and app commands

Who it is for

These Lightroom keyboard shortcuts are for photographers who use the cloud-based Lightroom app on a desktop or laptop, often alongside the mobile app. Lightroom has fewer shortcuts than Lightroom Classic, which makes the ones it has easier to learn. Flagging and rating from the keyboard, jumping between the edit panels and the masking tools, and exporting with the previous settings cover most of a session. The two apps are close enough to confuse, so it helps to keep their references apart.

The PDF is searchable, so Cmd+F on a Mac or Ctrl+F on Windows finds a shortcut by name. Print it and keep it beside the keyboard, or keep it open on a second screen while you work. Each section starts from the job rather than the menu, so the keys you use together sit together on the page.
