Adobe Lightroom Classic Keyboard Shortcuts
Every Lightroom Classic shortcut, sorted by the job in hand
Press a single letter in Lightroom Classic while a keyword or caption field still has focus and the letter goes into the field, not the photograph. Click on the photograph first and every key on these pages behaves.
Adobe Lightroom Classic Keyboard Shortcuts is a free 15-page PDF quick reference with 316 shortcuts in 19 sections, grouped by the job in hand rather than by Adobe's menu order. Where a key is the same on a Mac and on Windows it spans both columns.
The shortcuts come from Adobe's published list, last updated on 29 October 2025. Inside Lightroom Classic, Cmd+/ on a Mac or Ctrl+/ on Windows shows the list for the module that is open.
What the reference covers
Views, screen modes and moving between modules
Panels and the workspace
Selecting, comparing, rating, flagging and filtering
Collections, keywords and metadata
Photographs and the catalog, import, export and merges
Develop settings and sync, crop, masking and healing
Before and after, zoom, proofing and the secondary window
The Map, Book, Slideshow, Print and Web modules
Who it is for
These Lightroom Classic keyboard shortcuts are for photographers who spend real time in the Library and Develop modules, culling a shoot, keywording it and editing the keepers. The culling keys alone change how a session feels. Flag, reject and rate with a single letter, add Shift to move on to the next photograph automatically, and a few hundred frames become a short job. The sections follow the order of a typical session, from import and culling through Develop to the output modules.
The PDF is searchable, so Cmd+F on a Mac or Ctrl+F on Windows finds a shortcut by name. Print it and keep it beside the keyboard, or keep it open on a second screen while you work. Each section starts from the job rather than the menu, so the keys you use together sit together on the page.
