Lightroom Classic Profiles - Modern Colour

£0.00Price

Colour toning in one click, at the strength you choose

A preset rewrites your sliders. A profile leaves them alone. That difference is why I built this set as profiles. Apply a toning and Exposure, Contrast, HSL and the rest stay exactly where you left them, so you can change your mind about the colour at any point in the edit.

Modern Colour is a free set of 15 colour toning profiles for Lightroom Classic and Adobe Camera Raw. Each profile carries its own colour lookup table, which is why it works on raw files, TIFFs and JPEGs alike and why every one has an Amount slider running from 0 to 200.

I made them for photographers who like a considered colour finish but would rather not rebuild it in Color Grading for every photograph. The tonings run from the warmth of SP_Golden Hour to the cool blues of SP_Arctic Frost, and all fifteen keep the photograph in colour.

What the download includes

  • 15 profiles in their own SP_Modern Colour group in the Profile Browser

  • An Amount slider on every profile, where 0 removes the toning, 100 applies it as designed and 200 doubles it

  • Support for raw, TIFF and JPEG files in both Lightroom Classic and Camera Raw

  • A 5-page PDF guide to installing the profiles on Windows and macOS, using them, and fixing the common problems

  • Before and after previews of every profile

The fifteen profiles

SP_Teal Orange, SP_Golden Hour, SP_Cinematic Blue, SP_Faded Film, SP_Matte Moss, SP_Rose Blush, SP_Arctic Frost, SP_Desert Amber, SP_Midnight Teal, SP_Copper Glow, SP_Lavender Haze, SP_Urban Slate, SP_Warm Matte, SP_Emerald Shadow and SP_Sunset Peach.

Installation takes about a minute. In the Develop module, open the Profile Browser, click the + icon, choose Import Profiles and select the ZIP file. Lightroom Classic and Camera Raw share the same settings folder, so in most set-ups the profiles appear in both.

Download them free, apply SP_Golden Hour to a flat afternoon frame, and move the Amount slider until it looks right.
