Course Overview
This immersive 9-hour course removes any confusion and helps you establish a solid, professional workflow from your very first click. You will start by mastering the essential why behind Lightroom Classic: the non-destructive Catalogue system, which ensures that your original image files (RAW or JPEG) remain safe and accessible at all times.
Course Structure
The curriculum is organised into six progressive modules, starting with efficient photo management. You will learn how to reduce hours of image culling to mere minutes by employing powerful organisational strategies, including Smart Collections, Flags, and the innovative Assisted Culling (AI) feature introduced in the 2026 update.
Once you are organised, you will delve into the Develop Module. You will learn precise control over global tone and colour, moving beyond simple sliders to understand the power of the Tone Curve and Calibration tool. A critical component will be the integration of AI tools for image quality, where you will dedicate time to applying the new AI Denoise feature early in your workflow to achieve stunningly clean high-ISO images. Finally, you will tackle introductory local adjustments (gradients, brushes) and efficiently finalise your images using presets and tailored digital export settings.
